As a Security team member, you help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and team members by monitoring property, responding to incidents, and supporting risk management practices. What You’ll Do: Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas Inspect doors, windows, gates, and access points Respond to alarms, security calls, and on-site emergencies Investigate and document incidents or suspicious activity Complete daily Security Logs and incident reports Monitor fire safety, hazards, and unsecured areas Assist with emergency response procedures Escort residents and team members after hours Support OSHA and infection control compliance Secure and unlock areas per policy What We’re Looking For: HS Diploma/GED; age 18+ 2+ years related experience preferred Strong judgment and decision-making skills Ability to handle multiple priorities Clear written and verbal communication skills Basic computer proficiency Valid driver’s license (if required) Security Officer – Help Keep Our Community Safe, Secure and Protected Security Officer | Security Guard | Safety | Loss Prevention | Senior Living | Security Operations Pay Range: 15.00 - 18.80 We also offer benefits and other compensation that include: Medical Dental Vision Life Disability Plans Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistant Program / Discount Program Paid time off (PTO), sick time, and holiday pay myFlexPay offered to get paid within hours of a shift Tuition Reimbursement In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The webpage must maintain up to date information and explain the background screening process through the clearinghouse, Level 2 screening requirements, fingerprinting procedures, and include a searchable job catalog, disqualifying offenses, exemption steps, and a downloadable checklist with timelines and details of the process.
