Rad/X-Ray Tech | Dearborn, Michigan

Seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist with strong skills in imaging, X-ray, and radiologic technology for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate brings expertise in operating GE, OEC C-arms, and Carestream portable equipment. This role offers a block schedule with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., including every other weekend. No on-call responsibilities are required.


Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Current and valid BLS certification
• ARRT (R) certification mandatory
• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Tech
• Proficiency with GE and OEC C-arms, and Carestream portable imaging devices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and radiologic imaging examinations
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging technology (including GE, OEC C-arms, and Carestream portables)
• Adhere to established safety protocols and infection control standards
• Correctly document patient information and imaging procedures in the electronic medical record
• Provide compassionate care, maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
