What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals following recipes and production guidelines
- Ensure consistency, portioning, and presentation standards are met
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness at all times
- Support daily prep, service execution, and kitchen operations
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy meal periods
- Properly store, label, and handle all food items
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Comfortable following recipes and using kitchen technology (tablets, systems)
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred
- Previous cook or line cook experience
- Experience in senior living, hospitality, or foodservice environments
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (90% of shift)
- Lift up to 40 lbs
- Perform repetitive motions (bending, reaching, prepping)
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
