SAP S4HANA FI CO Senior Consultant

Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a SAP S4HANA FI CO Senior Consultant for their Remote / Hybrid – Naperville, IL location.

Responsibilities:

• The consultant will support the implementation of the SAP S4HANA Corporate Template for Finance and Controlling across the client.
• The role involves harmonizing global template standards with local statutory requirements across multiple entities.
• The candidate should have experience supporting multinational rollouts in pharmaceutical or contract manufacturing environments.
• Template Harmonization
• Execute the design and implementation of the integrated corporate template ensuring alignment across Finance Controlling Manufacturing PP Quality Management QM and Sales and Distribution SD processes

Finance and Controlling Implementation

• Manage cost center hierarchies and profit center structures based on product family
• Design and maintain product cost planning CO PC and actual costing using material ledger AVR methodology
• Design and implement internal cost allocation cycles including assessment and distribution between cost centers and projects

Technical Integration

• Work with SAP Process Orchestration middleware to manage bidirectional data exchange with external systems such as Tagetik consolidation

• Global rollout experience
• Minimum 10 years of SAP FI and CO implementation experience preferably in a GxP regulated environment
• Pharmaceutical or contract manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong expertise in SAP S4HANA Release 2021 or higher
• Solid understanding of material ledger SKU and actual costing using cumulative AVR method
• Proficiency in configuring CO PA account based and cost of goods sold splitting structures
• Understanding of weighted average cost concepts
• Regulatory Compliance
• Understanding of computerized system validation in regulated environments
• Ability to manage cross functional requirements across finance controlling production and procurement
• Experience supporting global stakeholders across Germany Italy Eastern Europe and USA
• Strong communication and change management skills
• Knowledge of WBS element cost collection and settlement processes
• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP FI and CO implementation, preferably in a GxP regulated environment, with experience in the pharmaceutical industry highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage cross functional requirements across finance, controlling, production, and procurement, along with experience supporting change management across geographically diverse regions including Germany, Italy, Eastern Europe, and the USA.
