Registration Specialist

Looking for a job in healthcare with no nights and no weekends? Join our team dedicated to the highest quality health care!Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5pmJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uphold clinic guidelines and standards related to patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Monitor and keep assigned EPIC revenue cycle work queues completed and cleared.
- Register new patients.
- Correct demographic, insurance and financial data entry into EPIC as needed to correct work queue lists.
- Effectively verify insurance eligibility and self-pay coverages, making necessary updates and edits to individual patients.
- Identify and report systems and staff error patterns.
- Cover for Patient Financial Services as needed.
