Consider joining us!Job Summary:The Program Manager- supports the Program Director in overseeing daily operations of an early childhood education center. This role ensures high quality care, compliance with licensing requirements, staff supervision, family communication, and a nurturing environment that supports child development.Qualifications and Requirements:Must be teacher qualified per DHS statute:Child Development Associate (CDA) and 9 months' experience working within a childcare setting with children from diverse communitiesBachelor's degree in early childhood education, Elementary Education, Social Work, or similar major AND 6 months childcare experience preferred.Other eligibility for Teacher qualification from DHS.Demonstrated ability to understand and work well with young children and families challenged by economic and social problems and of varying racial/ethnic backgrounds.Commitment to collaborative classroom teaching.Current pediatric Red Cross First Aid and CPR training (may be taken after hire).Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with a variety of people.Easily navigate smart phone technology and a laptop or be willing to learn.Maintain a valid driver's license and be willing to operate a school van.Ability to lift children up to 50lbs.Ability to sit, stand, and walk and be active during the work day.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
