Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care

Wound Ostomy Nurse

Schedule: 8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly Contract Weeks: 16

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in specialty
Required AHA BLS certification
CWON(R) or CWOCN(R) certification
Wound care certification (WCC, CWS, or CWCN)
Ostomy certification is optional

Responsibilities:

Perform assessment and management of patients with wound, ostomy, and continence issues
Educate patients and families on wound care and related topics
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and care provided

Compliance / Notes:

MUST work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
