Systems Administrator

System Administration & MaintenanceInstall, configure, upgrade, and patch software applications.Monitor system health, logs, and proactively identify and resolve issues.Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.Work with the database team to maintain integrity and performance (Oracle and SQL).Evaluate and recommend new technologies or improvements to existing infrastructure.Incident & Problem ManagementProvide on-call support for priority production issues.Triage real-time production incidents and perform RCA.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Database, Development, Network, Security, Enterprise Data teams) to resolve issues.Documentation & ReportingDocument business process flows, system documentation, operating procedures, and configurations.Work with development teams on building and maintaining applications and reports for operational and various business functions.Security & ComplianceManage user accounts, permissions, and access controls following security best practices.Apply security patches, and perform regular security monitoring and backups.Implement and monitor security controls such as firewalls, antivirus, and vulnerability remediation.Support audit activities and ensure systems comply with corporate security and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and organizational standards.Technical Skills5–7 years of experience in System Administrator is a must.Experience with windows environments, server administration, scripting skills is a must.Experience with Oracle and SQL databases.Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).Experience working with financial applications and automation scheduling tools.Experience with financial reporting data points.Soft SkillsExcellent communication and presentation skills.Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and in a team.Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS or related field.
