Position Summary
Award Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This leadership role is ideal for a compassionate, organized, and driven nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing all nursing services
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies
• Supervise and support nursing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Promote a culture of quality care, safety, and continuous improvement
• Monitor clinical outcomes and implement corrective actions as needed
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff development initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and satisfaction
• Act as Director of Nursing in their absence

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1years of nursing leadership experience (long-term care or skilled nursing preferred)
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and clinical best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
