Mammography Technologist

Job Summary:
Performs a variety of mammography imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while providing safe and compassionate patient care. Applies mammography principles, techniques, and protocols to deliver accurate imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography examinations and related imaging procedures. 
• Ensure image quality and patient safety standards are met. 
• Operate imaging and computer equipment effectively. 
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation. 
• Work independently and collaborate with healthcare team members. 
• Provide professional and courteous patient service. 

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. 
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography. 
• Current Oregon state license. 
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association). 
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience. 
• Strong computer and communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree. 
• Experience with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures. 
• Image Wisely and Image Gently certifications (or willingness to obtain after hire).
