Physical Therapist | Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic Role Location: Lee’s Summit, MO Position Type: Full-Time Setting: Modern Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic EMR System: WebPT Position Overview We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist for a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lee’s Summit, MO. This position is ideal for a clinician who wants to work with a varied patient population while treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions in a professional clinic environment. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop care plans, provide skilled treatment, document progress through WebPT, and work closely with a clinical team of 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants. Patients range from 11 to 90 years old, creating a well-rounded outpatient caseload. Compensation New Graduate Physical Therapist: $65,000–$70,000 per year Experienced Physical Therapist: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience Schedule Options Preferred Option: Four 10-Hour Days Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Tuesday off each week Alternative Option: Monday–Friday Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Responsibilities Complete physical therapy evaluations and reassessments Develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance work, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation Educate patients on home exercise programs and safe activity progression Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed Complete accurate documentation in WebPT Coordinate with PTAs and other clinical team members Support patients in improving mobility, strength, function, and daily activity tolerance Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure New graduates are encouraged to apply Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills Clinic Details Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Insurance Accepted: BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance 401K plan with Company Match 3 weeks PTO 8 Paid US Holidays CEU Allowance Sign-On Bonus Available Advance your Physical Therapy career in a Lee’s Summit outpatient clinic where your clinical work is supported by structure, teamwork, and room to grow.
