Travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with OR experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting.

Job Details

• Work setting includes adult acute care, adult outpatient, bedside/portable procedures, and pediatric outpatient,
• Patient population includes infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics,
• Procedures include abdomen/GI imaging (KUB, decubitus, upright), full upper and lower extremity studies, and spine/pelvis imaging,
• OR procedures include big C-arm cases (total joints, ortho, cholecystectomies, cochlear implants, bladder stimulators) and mini C-arm for smaller orthopedic cases,
• Portable imaging performed post-op for total knees, abdomens, and other imaging as needed,
• Also covers a diagnostic imaging area serving patients from Employee Health, Wound Care, Occupational Health, and Inpatient Rehab,
• Charting via Epic - experience required,
• 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday, approximately 7:15 AM to 5:00 PM (start and end times may fluctuate slightly),
• No call required,
• Floating may be required based on staffing needs,

Job Requirements

• Current BLS certification required,
• Virginia state license required; any active state license in hand is accepted, as Virginia grants emergency authorization while a permanent VA license is processing - license required if applicable,
• Minimum OR experience required,
• Experience with Siemens equipment strongly preferred,
• Proficiency with big and mini C-arm, portable imaging, and PACS,
• Two professional references required for consideration,
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration,
