Real Estate Associate Attorney
NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a confidential law firm to identify a Real Estate Associate Attorney. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with commercial real estate experience, particularly in leasing transactions, who is looking to join a collaborative practice handling a broad range of sophisticated real estate matters.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements and related real estate documents
- Support purchase and sale transactions, including due diligence and closing activities
- Review title commitments, surveys, and other property-related documentation
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients on a variety of commercial real estate matters
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar admission
- 3+ years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm
- Substantive experience with commercial leasing, plus experience with purchase and sale agreements and title and survey review
- Excellent drafting, analytical, negotiation, and client communication skills
- Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within a team
