The position partners with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements, mentor junior engineers, and provide ongoing support for critical batch operations.In this role you will:Collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze automation needs and provide deliverables as assignedUtilizes Tidal or similar job scheduling software to develop and implement batch jobs, workflows, and all other software componentsEscalates complex or consequential issues to managementIdentifies and directs changes through appropriate review and approval mechanismsUnderstands and promotes the GM Financial policy on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) to ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulations that may govern the GM Financial business and complete all regulatory knowledge training where applicable in a timely fashionServes as a mentor to less experienced engineersSupport other workload automation users and teams in their use of the softwareSupports batch optimization and reportingSupports IT SOX Audit controls for batch jobs and access managementWorks cross-functionally to analyze and resolve batch problemsProvides direct support of batch processing including incident management and incident resolution through participation in on call rotationPerforms other duties as assignedConform with all company policies and proceduresFull timePosting Date: 2026-10-08
