Job Summary The Class A CDL Truck Driver is responsible for hauling materials and equipment to and from job sites, supporting the Line team and working with personnel across departments. ***** MUST HAVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION CDL ENDORSEMENT ***** Responsibilities Haul equipment and materials to and from the job site as well as from pole to pole safely. Perform all groundwork, preparing necessary materials for Linemen. Prepare safe work zones with the use of signs, cones, etc. Assist in the training of new truck drivers. Qualifications High school diploma, or equivalent. MUST have a Manual Transmission endorsement. Clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications 2 or more years of relevant driving experience. Physical Demands and Work Environment This job operates in a field environment and requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and twisting. The role involves exposure to inclement weather conditions such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind. The physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and carrying, along with maintaining vision and hand‑eye coordination. Note: This description is not exhaustive of all job duties.
