In the U.S., Mattamy is represented in 11 markets – Charlotte, Dallas, Jacksonville, Orlando, Phoenix, Raleigh, Southeast Florida, Tampa, Tucson and Wellen Park.What you’ll doWorks with Division President, develops sales strategy for division and manages execution of all sales plans to achieve sales and closing budgetsEnsures job expectations and periodic performance goals are clearly understood by each team memberResponsible for holding the sales team as a whole and individually accountable for meeting the division’s sales goals. We believe you must “Inspect what you expect” Owns the CRM process and ensures engagement by the sales team to meet or exceed required metrics Coaches sales counselors via instruction, role playing and interactive discussion, both formally and informally, using the Company’s established performance appraisal processWorks with other departments to ensure that every community’s presentation is best in class, from the community entry to model homes to inventory home condition. Reports issues to the appropriate team membersVisits competitor communities to gather market data and intelligence (e.g. pricing, product specifications, release and sales information, incentives, lot premiums, options, etc.), and ensures the sales team completes their monthly competitive information gatheringUtilizes available research tools to conduct thorough market research in Division area to keep current on market conditions and potential opportunitiesActively recruits potential future personnel by visiting competitor and related industry places of work on a periodic basis, formally tracking and recruiting high-potential candidates when openings ariseInterviews and hires sales counselors and sales assistants to produce best in-class sales forceResponsible for recognition of sales counselors and sales team and maintaining a positive environment that will motivate the entire teamAdditional duties to be discussedWhat you bringBachelor’s degree preferred, or minimum equivalent experience requiredMinimum of 5 years new home sales experience requiredMinimum of 2 years Management experience required, with focus on sales coaching and training preferredActive state Real Estate License RequiredValid Drivers License required Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM and other systems Business minded sales professional that is knowledgeable and understands establishing and achieving sales goals and budgetsStrong coaching and mentoring skills,Adept at building trusting, professional relationships with prospective homebuyers in order to procure salesHigh energy, outgoing, professional demeanorExcellent Communication (written and verbal) skills Bonus pointsExperience managing and mentoring salespeople in a larger – national home builder environmentBe yourself.
