Job Title: MIG/Stick Welder Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder who can proficiently read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to perform MIG and Stick welding on steel. The ideal candidate will be required to pass a MIG weld test and demonstrate the ability to set up a welding machine after it is zeroed out. The work involves steel welding ranging from 20 gauge to 5/8 inch.

• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to execute precise welding tasks.
• Perform MIG and Stick welding on steel, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Pass a basic MIG flat welding test, demonstrating proficiency in machine setup.
• Weld steel ranging from 20 gauge to 5/8 inch thickness.

• Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Skill in reading a tape measure.

• Entry-level candidates with relevant schooling are welcome.

The company is a leading manufacturer of packaged pavement preservation products for asphalt and concrete, with a diverse range of products and equipment designed to extend the life of pavement surfaces. Manufacturing takes place in the USA, with modern facilities located in Chandler, Arizona, where equipment such as melter/applicators and crack preparation tools are produced.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
