The Puttshack experience is really about having fun - and doing something fun - together.Now hiring for: Electronic Game Support / Maintenance TechnicianThe Game Technician position is responsible for maintaining the functionality of our unique game technology. Our Game Technicians are knowledgeable on the mechanics and operations of the game/courses and ensure they are performing properly, and safely. Through various troubleshooting and repair techniques as well as timely and accurate reporting, the Game Technician will work closely with the venue team to resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently, contributing to a positive and engaging atmosphere and guest experience on the course.We'd like for you to have:2+ years' experience in technical support or maintenance.Proficient with computer systems, technology and PC hardware installationsAbility to learn unique software and hardware systems that support the game.Familiarity with technical documentation; ability to read schematics and wiring diagramsFamiliarity with electronic circuitry and testing equipmentSkilled in practical application of electronics and mechanics.Experience with using hand tools and small power toolsPossess a guest focused mind set; provide an exceptional experienceAbility to effectively communicate with management, peers, and guestsStrong problem solving skills and ability to multi taskMust have flexibility to work varied schedules to include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends and requires standing and/or walking for extended periods of timeThis position must pass a post-offer background check.Preferred Skills and Experience:Proven experience in technical support and maintenance in a gaming or entertainment environment.Strong problem-solving skills down to the component level and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.Experience with small electronic and mechanical repairsFamiliar with Ethernet data infrastructureSoldering experienceBasic understanding of electromechanical devicesExamples: linear actuators, small conveyor systems, etc.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
