Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician (Mid–Senior Level)

Reports To: Plant Manager
Location: Cedar Hill, TX (On-site)

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, production equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced industrial environment.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, PLCs, and control systems.
• Minimize production downtime by responding to equipment failures and supporting production lines.
• Conduct facility maintenance including welding, fabrication, HVAC, plumbing, piping, and structural repairs.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, ISO drawings, P&IDs, and PFDs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and plant safety standards.
• Inspect and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track maintenance performance and improvements.
• Manage parts inventory using CMMS; track, order, and store critical spare components.
• Train and mentor new employees to build maintenance capability.
• Fabricate parts for repairs and equipment upgrades.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment safely and effectively.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school or technical certification preferred.
• Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of:
  • Industrial motors and drives
  • PLCs and control systems (basic to intermediate)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (ISO, P&ID, PFD).
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar software is a plus.
• HAZMAT training is a plus.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate:

• $32.00 – $38.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Full-time position
• Not bonus eligible; additional incentives may be available
