Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support order entry, customer communications, and service operations in a fast-paced environment. This role begins with a strong focus on data entry and order processing, then expands into customer support through email, phone, and chat channels. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for candidates who are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Enter customer orders into the ERP system accurately and efficiently
- Process high volumes of order entries with minimal errors
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
- Assist customers with product-related questions, order status updates, and issue resolution
- Ensure customer concerns are resolved quickly and professionally
- Follow up on customer requests and open issues in a timely manner
- Monitor and process customer orders that are on hold
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer interactions
- Demonstrate excellent customer service while following company policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to support customer satisfaction goals
- Learn product knowledge over time to provide increasingly comprehensive customer support
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of customer-facing work experience, such as customer service, retail, hospitality, or similar roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Teams
- Data entry experience (6 months to 1 year preferred)
- Experience in call center, customer support, order processing, or administrative support environments
- ERP system experience
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
