Machine Technician (Temp-to-Perm)
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Technician with experience in manual machining and press operations. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Perform manual machining tasks in a tool room environment
- Operate and adjust hydraulic press brakes and mechanical presses
- Monitor production processes and inspect product quality
- Perform routine machine inspections and minor maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of machine setup and operation experience
- Experience with:
- Manual machining
- Hydraulic press brakes
- Flywheel mechanical presses
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
