We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to grab a tray, jump behind the bar, solve a problem, count a drawer, high-five a server after a great shift, and occasionally save the day.

The Goat's Beard is searching for an Assistant Manager / Key Holder who wants more than just a job. This is a hybrid role for someone who enjoys both leadership and hospitality—part manager, part server/bartender, all team player.

You'll be trusted with helping run the restaurant while continuing to earn on the floor, giving you the best of both worlds: leadership experience and guest-facing hospitality.

What You'll Do

• Open or close the restaurant and help ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with cash handling, end-of-day reconciliation, and deposits
• Help manage inventory and keep us organized behind the scenes
• Support managers in maintaining service standards and team accountability
• Coach, motivate, and encourage the staff during busy shifts
• Jump into server or bartender shifts as needed
• Help create memorable guest experiences and build regulars
• Be a reliable presence that the team can count on

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred
• Strong server and/or bartender experience
• Someone who leads by example rather than from the sidelines
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency
• Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership
• A hospitality-first mindset and genuine love for people
• Desire to learn, grow, and advance within our company
