Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, MedSurg / Tele to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical/neuro patients including those with COVID, respiratory issues, and diabetic conditions.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret tele strips accurately, ensuring documentation is signed each shift.
• Administer medications and assist with titratable drips such as Diltiazem.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including Charge Nurse and Nurse Aides, supporting a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Participate in self-scheduling for 12-hour night shifts, accommodating weekend and holiday shift requirements.
• Float to other units as needed, including East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in MedSurg/Tele unit preferred.
• Proficient in reading basic telemetry strips and General & Orthopedic patient care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Cerner charting experience recommended with only one day of orientation.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with weekend and holiday requirements.
