Job Description
Title: Nursing - Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

Schedule:
- 12-hour rotating shifts
- Every other weekend
- Day/Night rotation

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements:
- 2-3 years of related work experience
- Valid CPR certification (AHA)
- Valid ACLS certification
- SICU and Trauma/Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Epic experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-acuity nursing care to surgical patients in the SICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday).
- All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission.
- Parking may incur costs up to $43 per day.
