SR Process Improvement Engineer | $155,000–$160,000 | Full-Time | Pasadena, TX I On-site

• Schedule: Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week; occasional evenings or weekends may be required based on project needs

Job Description:

A growing, multi-site industrial manufacturing and repair organization is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to lead strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce lead times, and strengthen the customer experience. This highly visible role will partner with employees from the shop floor through executive leadership to drive measurable improvements across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and manufacturing performance. The position will also manage capital projects, support facility integration, and develop technology-enabled process improvements using Microsoft Power Platform tools. This is an opportunity for an experienced continuous improvement professional to make a meaningful organization-wide impact during a period of significant growth.  

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, change management, and operational excellence principles to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and customer lead times.
• Manage cross-functional capital projects from initial business case and project charter through implementation, ensuring investments align with operational needs, budgets, timelines, and business objectives.
• Drive process standardization and integration across multiple manufacturing and repair locations, including newly added facilities and initiatives designed to strengthen manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop digital process solutions and reporting tools using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to improve visibility, workflow efficiency, and decision-making.
• Coach and influence teams across all levels of the organization, facilitate kaizen and waste-reduction initiatives, monitor key business metrics, and communicate results to site and executive leadership.  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another relevant four-year discipline with strong manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, continuous improvement, or a related role, with experience in an industrial or discrete manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success leading organization-wide or cross-functional strategic initiatives with measurable impact on business or operational performance.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform, including model-driven and canvas Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and change-management skills, with the ability to influence employees and leaders without direct authority.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of initiatives, and operate effectively in a lean organization where resources may be limited.
• Ability to travel 0–15%, including regular travel among Houston-area locations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance, as well as walk, climb, reach overhead, and balance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to meet applicable background and drug/alcohol screening requirements.  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt, or other formal Continuous Improvement training or certification
• Experience managing capital projects and supporting acquisition or facility integration
• Experience teaching and coaching Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, quality systems, and manufacturing HSE best practices
• Experience implementing AI-enabled tools or solutions
• Experience working in rotating equipment, machinery, engineered products, or a closely related industrial manufacturing environment

The base pay range for this position is $155,000–$160,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
