About Us Godaelli Psychiatric and Mental Health Center is a private practice of Godaelli Healthcare Services, providing comprehensive mental health services in Virginia, including medication management, supportive therapy, both online and in-person. Position Summary We are seeking a Contract Licensed Counselor to work alongside our Psychiatric Practitioners. Responsibilities Conduct individual and couple counseling sessions using various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychotherapy. Provide behavior management strategies and interventions for clients with developmental disabilities. Conduct clinical research to contribute to the field of counseling and behavioral health. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients. Provide counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults in various settings, including schools, clinics, and private practice. Offer support and guidance to families and caregivers of clients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Qualifications LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensed in the State of Virginia. Desire to be part of an experienced and supportive team. At least 1 year of experience. Preferred: Bilingual Spanish speaker. Skills Proficient in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and interventions. Knowledge of behavior management strategies for individuals with developmental disabilities. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities across the lifespan. Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and data analysis. Understanding of the ICD-10 diagnostic coding system. Ability to provide child and family counseling services. Experience working in pediatric settings. Strong skills in individual and group counseling. Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
