Location: Lourdes Health System - 1600 Haddon Ave Type: On‑Site Employment Employment Classification: Regular Time Type: Full time Work Shift: Day Shift - 12 Hr (United States of America) Total Weekly Hours: 36 Job Summary Under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Physician, the Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during complex surgical procedures in the following specialties: Cardiac, Neurosurgical, Neuro‑interventional, and Transplant. The technologist ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and maintains the sterile field. Responsibilities Scrubs for, prepares, sets‑up, and assists during any surgical procedure. Provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary. Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures. Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures. Qualifications One year of current OR experience or training. High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program. Certification preferred: BLS, Surgical Technologist Certification. Sign On Bonus Full time: $2000 Part time: $1000 Compensation Hourly Rate: $30.37 – $47.20 (rate varies based on experience, internal equity, and market data).
