Location Lourdes Health System – 1600 Haddon Ave, Camden, NJ Employment Details Remote Type: On-Site Employment Type: Employee Employment Classification: Regular Time Type: Full Time Work Shift: Day Shift – 12 Hr (U.S.) Total Weekly Hours: 36 Summary Under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or LPN, assist patients with activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicate with and support the healthcare team, patients, and families. Maintain high standards of professional ethics. Responsibilities Support activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and assistance with mobility and transport. Perform technical duties directed by RN/LPN: vital signs, point‑of‑care testing, bladder scanning, foley catheter care, and related documentation. May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified, and identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN/LPN. Reinforce education of patients and families on individual care needs and safety. Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives, performance improvement activities, and orientation of new hires. Qualifications Demonstrates required knowledge of basic patient‑care skills, procedures, and standards. Must have strong communication skills. Education & Training High School Diploma or Grade Equivalent Diploma (GED) required. Must have successfully completed a PCT course, fundamentals nursing course in an RN program, Certified Nursing Assistant program, or have worked equivalent of 1 year of direct patient care. BLS certification required. Phlebotomy training/education required for emergency department positions. Enhances skills through ongoing education and training; maintains regulatory and departmental competencies. Compensation and Benefits Hourly Rate: $19.54 – $29.20 (varies based on experience, internal equity, and market data).
