We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Los Angeles office. Responsibilities To lead and manage a team of engineers and designers. Plan and execute the preparation of structural calculations and documents for complex building projects, including civic, commercial and residential construction. Prepare proposals and assist in the establishment and management of project budgets and schedules. Create and maintain client relationships. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering or related field, Master’s preferred. At least 10 years of structural and earthquake engineering design experience. Must be a licensed CA Professional Engineer; CA S.E. preferred. In depth experience with design of vertical structures of commonly used materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and wood; single family home design experience desirable. Proficiency in writing and oral presentations as well as possessing excellent communication skills. Strong project management skills and experience in leading engineering team.
