Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Swing Shift Forklift Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Pay: $22.15/hour + $0.50/hour swing shift differential

Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move raw materials, finished products, and other materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other delivery vehicles while ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.
• Transport materials to designated production, warehouse, and storage areas as needed.
• Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment before use and promptly report any equipment issues or safety concerns.
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with tracking materials and finished products.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean and organized warehouse and production areas.
• Collaborate with production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation related to material movement and inventory.
• Promptly report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior forklift or material handling experience is preferred.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment is preferred.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or move for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to reliably work the 3:00 PM 11:00 PM swing shift.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but training may be provided.
