Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 4 years preferred License: NY license required Certifications: CST Must-Have: - General OR experience - Familiarity with various surgical procedures Description: Certifications required: CST. Skills include proficiency in various surgical cases such as gastric bypass, laparoscopic assisted surgeries, aortic aneurysm repair, and more. Experience with procedures like craniotomy, total hip and knee replacements, hernia repairs, and mastectomy is essential. Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization processes is required. Understanding of aseptic techniques and sharps safety is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate management or leadership experience. Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. Travel experience is required. This position requires participation in on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
