Schedule

12-hour shifts with rotating day/evening/night schedules. Can accommodate 48 hours per week.

Assignment Details

Position involves working in an operating room that provides care for a variety of patients across multiple specialties, including trauma.

Requirements

• NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
• Minimum two (2) years of experience
• Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center preferred
• Able to scrub
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various specialties
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgical operations
• Handle instruments and equipment effectively in the operating room
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Participate in postoperative care and equipment maintenance
