Controller

A growing and fast-paced multi-entity organization is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and cash management initiatives. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to support strategic growth, optimize financial performance, and maintain operational excellence across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on accounting leader who enjoys both strategic finance and day-to-day operational involvement within a dynamic business environment. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting operations including month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Prepare accurate and timely GAAP‑compliant financial reporting Develop executive reporting packages including KPIs, variance analysis, EBITDA tracking, and operational metrics Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Oversee banking relationships, borrowing base reporting, and liquidity management Manage multi‑state tax compliance including Texas and New Mexico reporting requirements Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and banking partners Support inventory accounting controls and operational reporting improvements Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and financial system optimization Supervise and mentor accounting and administrative staff Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5–7+ years of accounting or finance leadership experience Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Experience within multi‑entity environments Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Prior experience in oilfield services, construction, manufacturing, distribution, or inventory‑heavy industries preferred CPA or MBA is a plus Bonus opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan options Paid time off and company holidays Stable and growth‑oriented leadership environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Connect Search, LLC
