Marketing Coordinator

Pacific Rim Mechanical is seeking a proactive and highly organized Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing, communications, branding, and sales enablement efforts of Pacific Rim Mechanical’s commercial HVAC marketing group. The Marketing Coordinator provides marketing coordination resources to support social media, content development, graphic design, photography, video production, internal communications, and customer-facing marketing materials in alignment with company brand standards. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the marketing and sales activities of the company, including business development campaigns, proposal support, customer communications, project profiles, recruiting marketing, event support, and promotional materials. They will also coordinate and execute marketing projects as assigned, with emphasis on timely delivery, brand consistency, high-quality visual presentation, and measurable support for sales and business development objectives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication, project management, creative, and organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously. This individual should be collaborative, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and passionate about elevating the company’s brand and reputation. Typical Duties Social Media Management Develops, writes, schedules, and publishes social media content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms. Creates social media captions that are professional, clear, brand-aligned, and tailored to commercial HVAC customers, employees, recruits, and industry partners. Maintains a monthly social media content calendar and coordinates posting schedules with sales, service, operations, recruiting, and leadership teams. Content Creation Designs marketing materials using Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, including flyers, social media graphics, brochures, presentations, case studies, project profiles, trade show graphics, digital ads, print collateral, and recruiting materials. Captures and edits photography of projects, equipment installations, technicians, customer events, company activities, and employee-focused content. Plans, films, edits, and produces video content for social media, customer communications, recruiting, company culture, project profiles, case studies, and thought leadership campaigns. Coordinates project photography and video shoots at job sites, customer facilities, company offices, and events while following safety and site access requirements. Adds branded graphics, captions, transitions, music, and branded visual elements to video content as appropriate. Copywriting Writes and edits marketing content for website updates, email campaigns, newsletters, project profiles, customer success stories, press releases, employee announcements, and sales collateral. Ensures that copy for web, social media captions, YouTube descriptions, and other digital platforms includes proper SEO keywords. Marketing & Cross-Organizational Duties Supports the sales and business development teams with campaign materials, proposal graphics, presentation decks, customer-facing leave-behinds, and targeted marketing collateral. Assists with website updates, SEO-related content, digital asset organization, and marketing performance reporting. Supports trade shows, customer events, recruiting events, internal meetings, community engagement, and other activities as assigned. Maintains organized libraries for photography, video files, brand assets, templates, logos, project information and completed marketing materials in SharePoint. Tracks social media engagement, video views, campaign performance, content production volume, and other marketing metrics as requested. Supports marketing decisions and recommendations that can impact company brand image, customer engagement, recruiting visibility, sales enablement, and market presence. Performs other duties as assigned by the Marketing & Communications Specialist, Director of Service Sales, or company leadership. Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience

REQUIREMENTS:

2–3 years of experience in a corporate marketing, communications, or social media role. Experience supporting executive leadership and cross-functional teams preferred. 2+ years of graphic design experience. 2+ years of SEO copywriting experience. 2+ years of photography and videography experience is highly preferred. Commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, construction, building services, property management, energy services, facilities management, or other B2B industry experience is a plus. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Strong SEO copywriting skills with the ability to write professional social media captions, short-form marketing copy, customer-facing content, and internal communications. Strong understanding of branding, content development, and marketing execution. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint, and Planner. Proficiency in AI-powered productivity, research, content creation, and workflow automation tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or Google Gemini. Experience using AI-driven content, video, voice, and creative production tools such as Synthesia, ElevenLabs, Google Veo, or similar platforms is a plus. Expertise in social media platforms and schedulers such as SproutSocial, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Experience with HubSpot, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and email marketing software is a plus. Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop required. Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Lightroom, CapCut, or similar video/photo editing tools preferred. Experience with capturing still photography and video content using DSLR, mirrorless, mobile, or similar camera systems preferred. Strong understanding of visual composition, lighting, storytelling, brand consistency, file organization, and content optimized for web, social media, and other digital platforms. Ability to edit, organize, and manage photo and video content. Highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative professional. Ability to work independently and support critical deadlines when needed. Willingness to travel periodically throughout Southern California (approximately 10–15%).
