Marketing Representative

Role Description The Marketing Assistant is a full-time, contracted role based in San Diego, CA, with in the field marketing activities. The person in this role supports local marketing and sales initiatives, including assisting with customer outreach, organizing promotional campaigns, and helping maintain a strong local presence. Daily tasks may include conducting basic market research, direct local marking, updating marketing materials, supporting social media and digital efforts, and coordinating community events or lead generation activities. The Marketing Assistant also provides customer service support, prepares reports on marketing performance, and collaborates closely with the agency team to help drive new business and retain existing customers. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills. Candidates should possess skills in Sales and Sales & Marketing. Candidates should possess Market Research skills and the ability to analyze basic data and trends. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Comfort with basic computer applications, online tools, and social media platforms. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow established processes and guidelines. Prior experience in insurance, retail, or office support is helpful but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in marketing, business, or related fields is a plus. Valid CA drivers license with no motor vehicle violations.
