You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high‐quality customer service.**Why This Delivery Technician Role Is Different** This role plays a critical part in supporting patient safety, comfort, and independence. You’re not just dropping off equipment; you’re providing essential support to patients in their homes. **Key Highlights*** Close teamwork and strong support* Most techs take their trucks home based on route and schedule* Clear on‐call expectations with transparent rotation* Hands‐on role with mechanical and patient‐facing responsibilities* Stable schedule with flexibility* Safe Driver Bonus eligible**Schedule*** Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM**Travel Requirements*** Service radius up to 1.5 hours from the branch* Most technicians take their trucks home unless they are unable**Salary Range*** $19.00–$23.00 per hour* Pay varies based on experience, skills, and location* Eligible for Safe Driver Bonus**What You’ll Do*** Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and setups* Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes* Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use* Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‐sustaining needs* Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle* Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed* Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately* Maintain supply components in patient profiles* Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs* Perform routine vehicle checks* Support additional duties as assigned**Required*** Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and set-ups* High school diploma or equivalent* No experience required!* 21 years of age or older* Valid driver’s license* Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program* English reading, writing, and speaking skills**Top Attributes for Success:*** Willingness to learn* Dependability* Adaptability* Strong customer service and bedside manner* Mechanical aptitude* Comfort entering patient homes**Why You’ll Love Working Here*** You make a meaningful impact on patients' lives* Supportive small‐team environment* Transparent and hands‐on leadership* Predictable schedule with some flexibility* Training and development opportunities* Independent work with strong team support**Teammate Benefits**As an Accendra Health employee, you have choices to fit your life.
