This role involves 24-hour physician shifts within a Level 4 emergency department, supporting approximately 6,800 annual patient visits, utilizing EPIC EMR, and providing essential emergency care in a small hospital setting.

Clinical Scope

• Emergency Medicine duties in a Level 4 ED setting
• Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency patients
• Moderate and deep sedation procedures eligibility
• Documentation of case logs for the past two years
• General ED care with no specific procedural or patient population restrictions

Practice Environment

Providers will work alongside existing ED staff, nursing teams, and support services within a well-established emergency department infrastructure. Requirements

• Active Louisiana State Medical License
• Louisiana Controlled Substance License
• DEA registration with Louisiana address
• Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications (if not EM BC/BE)
• Documentation of case logs for the past two years
• Proof of CME completion within the last two years
