Community Manager

Position Overview Part-time (initially 15–25 hours/week) role to help build and nurture a long‑standing credit union working group we host. This is a hands‑on role focused on creating a vibrant and valuable space where members genuinely want to show up and participate. Key Responsibilities Community Management & Engagement Welcome and onboard new members. Moderate discussions, maintain positive culture, and enforce community guidelines. Drive consistent engagement through weekly prompts, resource drops, member spotlights, and discussions. Content & Resource Curation Help curate and organize various reports and templates. Upload various media and summaries. Support the creation of content based on member needs. Member Experience Monitor member feedback and develop ways to improve the experience. Act as the primary point of contact for members. Help facilitate peer connections. Operations Support Assist with monthly call logistics and follow‑ups. Coordinate with speaker, sponsors and vendors. Ideal Candidate Experience managing online communities or professional groups (association, Slack, Circle, Discord, etc.). Warm, organized, and detail‑oriented with strong written communication skills. Background in credit unions, financial services, compliance, or fraud is a big plus. Comfortable working independently in a fast‑moving environment. Passion for building helpful, high‑trust professional communities.
