Community Manager - Solstice at Fiddyment Ranch

Job Summary This role manages the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned stabilized garden‑style property, overseeing staff, budget, financials, leasing, resident service, inspections, and owner relationships to meet financial and operational goals. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day operations of the property, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with company policies and housing laws. Develop and monitor the budget, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly status reports. Ensure timely rent and fee collection, bank deposits, and invoicing procedures. Approve vendor, contractor, and service provider invoices, reconciling work performed and ensuring valid certificates of insurance. Control expenditures to stay within the approved budget and manage the petty cash fund. Lead lease enforcement, including applications, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees. Analyze market and economic trends to implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies that achieve occupancy and revenue targets. Respond to resident complaints and service requests, ensuring resident satisfaction and retention. Oversee property maintenance, conduct inspections, and enforce standards for safety, cleanliness, and appearance. Supervise and develop property staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and adherence to company values. Maintain client/owner relationships through meetings, property tours, and performance updates. Complete required accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports. Assist in other duties as assigned. California‑Only Requirement California community managers must utilize the California Lease File Checklist to ensure all lease documents are complete, compliant, and consistently organized. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field. 4–6 years of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing, or customer service. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer‑service skills. Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively. Specialized Skills All required state and local licenses and certifications. Valid driver’s license for golf‑cart operation on the property. Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Strong knowledge of property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, or OneSite). Management and supervisory skills for hiring, leading, evaluating, and managing staff. Travel / Physical Demands The role includes office work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements; ability to access all property areas, lift up to 20lb independently and 50lb with assistance, and make routine local travel as needed. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $70,000–$85,000 (Roseville). Eligible for incentive‑based bonuses and a quarterly or annual bonus program depending on corporate or onsite position. Competitive medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Low or free employee medical costs; discounts after 3 and 5 years of service. Paid time off: 15 vacation days, 4 personal days, 10 sick days, 11 paid holidays, and birthday off after 1 year of service. 6‑week paid sabbatical after 10 years of service and every 5 years thereafter. 401(k) with company match up to 6% after 6 months of service.
