What You'll Do

As a surgical scrub technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and sterile technique. Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room before, during, and after procedures
• Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are properly sterilized and functioning
• Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and passing sterile instruments and supplies
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and identify any breaks in sterile field protocol
• Handle and prepare specimens for laboratory processing
• Clean and restock operating rooms between procedures
• Assist with inventory management of surgical supplies and equipment
• Support a positive, patient-centered surgical experience
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient surgical operations

What You Bring

Current surgical technologist certification required Completion of an accredited surgical technology program Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience preferred Current BLS/ACLS certification required Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to remain calm, focused, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 15 pounds regularly, and working in a surgical environment with exposure to standard healthcare-related risks, including bloodborne pathogens and surgical equipment.
