As a Security Officer Access Desk in Sunnyvale, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location as a Front Desk professional, helping support a welcoming environment through visitor screening, access control, badge support, and clear communication. In this stationary role, you will help address security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service with a caring, reliable approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Monitor lobby and reception area activity, verify identification and/or access permissions, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through required documentation and communication channels.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and support staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors with professional front desk assistance while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
• Receive deliveries, manage visitor logs and/or credential records, and communicate with site contacts regarding access requests, unusual activity, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
