As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.84 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery areas in accordance with site protocols, helping to support the protection of sensitive equipment and restricted spaces. Assist with reporting maintenance concerns, operational disruptions, and/or suspicious behavior so the appropriate site personnel can be notified promptly. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 6 months of security‑related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
