Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Alarm Review in Mountain View, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

DayTimeSat02:30 PM - 11:00 PMSun02:30 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and suspicious activity.
- Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
