Assembler IICPI Radant Technologies Division Inc., a division of CPI (Communications & Power Industries LLC) perform work on radomes and advanced structural composites for the Aerospace and Defense industries. We specialize in the design, manufacture, and testing of radomes/reflectors for use in high performance airborne, ground-based shipboard, and submarine installations. We currently have a need for an Assembler II in our Hudson, Massachusetts facility.CPI Radant is the radome-and-composite?structures division of Communications & Power Industries LLC (CPI). They serve the aerospace, defense, naval, and commercial industries by designing, manufacturing, testing and supporting advanced composite radomes, reflectors and structural composite products.Radomes are special "domes" made of composite materials that protect antennas and radar systems from the environment while allowing electromagnetic signals to pass. CPI Radant produces these for critical applications, meaning:They enable secure communications and radar/electronic-warfare capabilities for military and commercial aerospace platforms.Their manufacturing includes large apertures and high?frequency performance.Their advances in composite manufacturing and large structures feed into modern aircraft, satellites, naval vessels, etc.Perform work on radomes and advanced structural composites for the Aerospace and Defense industries at our Hudson Massachusetts facility. We specialize in the design, manufacture, and testing of radomes/reflectors for use in high performance airborne, ground-based shipboard, and submarine installations.Fabricating parts, products, and assemblies from written instructions and associated sketchesManually perform lay-up assemblies of composite parts using various resin-reinforced fabrics &hand tools such as cutting tools, heat guns, templates, etc.Trim / Drill and assemble RadomesTape / Sand / Wash Radomes for coatingsWork to schedules and action lists to complete tasks and goalsMust be able to read, write, and understand EnglishGood written documentation and oral communication skillsAbility to follow written instructions and associated manufacturing plans or sketchesMust be able to read from written instructions and follow verbal directionsPushing/pulling/lifting up to 30 poundsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentMay work at elevated heights on scaffolding platforms and small spacesMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.Salary range: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experienceThis position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
