Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and improve commercial and industrial HVAC systems with urgency, discipline, and sound technical judgment.
• Respond to customers clearly, set expectations, and protect trust even when the final repair cannot happen immediately.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections that identify risk before failure becomes downtime.
• Create accurate service records, material documentation, and next-step recommendations another team member can act on.
• Follow ECS safety standards and applicable industry requirements on every job.
• Collaborate with project managers, dispatch, controls specialists, and other technicians to deliver a complete solution.
• Participate in emergency response, on-call rotation, overtime, and occasional weekend work as required.
• Continue developing through technical, controls, manufacturer, OSHA, fall-protection, and lift training.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and technical knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
• EPA HVAC certification and a valid driver's license.
• Strong customer communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule and Location

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, primarily 8-hour day shifts.
• Field service throughout Southeast Michigan.
• On-call rotation, overtime, and occasional weekends as needed.
• Southeast Florida project travel or relocation opportunities may be available based on business needs and mutual fit.
