We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Entry-Level IT Support Specialist to join our team in a remote, part-time capacity. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy technology, troubleshooting technical issues, and helping others resolve computer-related problems.

The successful candidate will provide basic technical assistance to users, troubleshoot common hardware and software issues, and help maintain smooth day-to-day technology operations. Training and guidance may be provided to help the right candidate develop the skills needed to succeed. Requirements/Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support to users experiencing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Respond to technical support requests through email, phone, chat, or an online ticketing system.
Troubleshoot common computer, printer, application, and internet connection problems.
Assist users with password resets, account access, software installation, and basic system configuration.
Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT personnel.
Help users navigate company systems, applications, and technology tools.
Follow established IT procedures and security guidelines.
Maintain professionalism, patience, and clear communication when assisting users.
Protect confidential information and follow company data security policies.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems, software applications, and internet connectivity.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to explain technical information in simple, understandable terms.
Comfortable using email, online communication platforms, and digital tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Reliable internet connection and an appropriate workspace.
Willingness to learn new technologies and follow technical procedures.
Previous IT support experience or an IT-related certification is a plus but not required.
