Apple Rehab Colchester is a family-owned skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located near the Colchester Town Green. Our 60-bed facility provides a welcoming, team-oriented environment where residents and staff are treated like family. Schedule

• Full-Time

  • Monday–Friday, 7-3pm

  • Monday–Friday, 3-11pm

• Per diem applicants are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care.

• Lead and support nursing staff while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care.

• Respond to changes in resident conditions and oversee emergency situations as needed.

• Ensure staffing needs are met and provide leadership during assigned shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license in good standing.

• Previous nursing supervisory experience required.

• Long-term care experience preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and nursing practices.

Additional Requirements

• Weekend on-call rotation required for full-time supervisors.

• Per diem staff must work at least two weekend shifts per month.
