Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Bank ATM Vestibule in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns. DayTimeTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, complete required activity logs, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
