Community Relations Coordinator

Location: Aurora, CO (On-site) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships and creating impactful community experiences? We are seeking a highly organized and outgoing Community Relations Coordinator to support community outreach initiatives, strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and special events. What You’ll Do Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, vendors, sponsors, families, and internal stakeholders Coordinate community partnerships and sponsorship agreements Plan and execute community events, outreach programs, and special initiatives Create event communications, promotional materials, recaps, and correspondence Manage scheduling, logistics, and event coordination activities Track budgets, invoices, partnership commitments, and engagement metrics Support vendor communications and event activation planning Collaborate with marketing, communications, leadership, volunteer services, and other internal teams Assist with on-site event setup and teardown, including booths, tents, tables, and promotional materials Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of community engagement activities Qualifications Required Experience 2+ years of community relations, partnership management, or community outreach experience 2+ years supporting sponsorships and strategic partnerships Experience planning and executing events from concept through completion Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills Experience coordinating schedules, logistics, and multiple priorities Budget tracking and reporting experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to support physical event setup and teardown activities Preferred Experience Nonprofit partnership experience Healthcare community relations experience Experience coordinating educational, volunteer, or wellness programs What Makes This Opportunity Unique? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
