SRE Lead

SRE Lead with a strong background -Performance Engineering, Observability, Cloud Technologies, and Software Development., and operations teams.




Key Responsibilities




Lead and drive Site Reliability Engineering initiatives across enterprise applications.




Define, implement, and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and reliability metrics.




Establish observability and monitoring frameworks using tools such as Prometheus and related monitoring platforms.




Partner with development teams to improve application performance, resilience, and scalability.




Lead Performance Engineering and Testing activities, including load testing, capacity planning, and performance optimization.




Develop and automate operational processes using scripting and programming languages.




Drive incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.




Collaborate with architecture teams to support and optimize both Monolithic and Microservices-based architectures.




Implement cloud-native reliability and automation solutions on AWS.




Evaluate and leverage AI-driven copilot and Claude.




Required Skills & Experience




8+ years of IT experience with significant experience in Site Reliability Engineering.




Strong expertise in Performance Engineering, Testing, and Application Monitoring.




Hands-on experience with Prometheus and observability platforms.




Deep understanding of SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and reliability best practices.




Strong development experience in:




Python




Java




Experience with AWS Cloud Services and cloud-native architectures.




Strong understanding of:




Monolithic Architecture




Microservices Architecture




Experience in automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.
